My name is Amelia Jenkins and I have spent this year as the School Principal in another small school in Central Queensland where I also taught reading and writing across the school. I have enjoyed teaching in a small school because of the opportunities to really get to know students, staff and community members and work closely with each other to make the school and community a better place to live and learn.
My husband Joel and I are looking forward to meeting all of you in the New Year. I have heard fantastic things about the students, staff and community at Rossville. Joel and I love the outdoors and are looking forward to spending our free time on the reef and in the rainforest. I am especially excited to meet all of you in person and build upon the great work accomplished by Mr Slocombe to continue to provide the best opportunities for you and your children.
