Rossville State School is located approximately 40km south of Cooktown, tucked away in the rainforest. The school services the localities of Rossville, Helenvale and Mungumby, and has a close relationship with other schools in the Southern Cape Cluster.
Currently we have 24 students enrolled.
Year levels are divided into 2 classes - Prep- 2 and 3-6.
The staff share positive working relationships with both the students and each other, and enjoy a high level of trust and autonomy, resulting in shared ownership of positive learning outcomes.
